Yes! There are many ways that individuals can work full time and keep their SSA benefits.

Most of our participants have their services funded through the Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) or Division of Rehabilitation Services (DORS). This funding covers the cost of transportation and program services. At times, Opportunities, Inc. may request funds for special event outings.

We offer the option of paying privately if other funding sources are not available to the participant.

Opportunities, Inc. does not provide toileting assistance, feeding assistance or medication administration.

The only requirement is that the individual have a desire to work. Depending on the support needs of the individual, the job development process may take several months to a year to complete. At times, our employment services are full. When this occurs, interested individuals are placed on a waiting list.

All staff are trained in CPR and first aid. Staff are trained to provide these interventions until emergency personnel arrive. Opportunities, Inc, regularly practices fire drills and building evacuations.
