There is always a way to engage with us and support what we do on your own time. You may be a great teacher, instructor or guide. You may enjoy sharing your passion and expertise with our community of users, in person or online.
Virtual Support Guest
We love having volunteers to teach a “guest lesson” via our virtual supports. The people we support are eager to share your talents with you – whether it’s how to play guitar, bake a cake, draw a rabbit or build a Lego rocket ship, your contribution is most welcome!
Seeking New Board Members
Opportunities Inc. is looking for candidates to join our Board of Directors starting January 1, 2024 for a 3- year term which may renewed continuously pending Board approval.
The mission of Opportunities Inc. is to advocate for, empower and support full inclusion of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We envision inclusive communities where all are empowered to reach their full potential.
We are looking for candidates with a background and willingness to share expertise in any of the following areas:
- Disability Services and Advocacy
- Employee Workforce Development
- Business Law
- Marketing, Communications, Fundraising
- Prince George’s and/or Montgomery County Business Partners
